Founded in 2011, ARIGM (formerly ARI Capital) has evolved from a finance firm into a specialized private equity & debt advisory firm headquartered in Chicago. With over $11 billion in historical transaction volume, we leverage our deep roots in real estate investment, investment advisory, regulatory compliance, corporate law and credit risk to provide unique structured finance solutions that bridge the gap between middle-market assets and senior lender requirements. We are a privately- owned company with a talented staff located in all major markets of the U.S.

Nicolette Cain’s vision was to start a firm that was different from the status quo. Merging some of the most intelligent minds in finance & legal to help businesses increase revenues and stay compliant without over leveraging themselves with different companies. ARIGM is a one stop boutique firm that can deliver on an institutional scale with business restructuring, capital raise, commercial underwrite, debt advisory, debt financing and compliance oversight. By bridging the gap between institutional standards and mid-market agility, Nicolette ensures that ARIGM's clients achieve not just capital infusion, but long-term, sustainable exponential growth.
Executive Leadership
Nicolette Cain
Managing Partner of ARI Global Management (ARIGM), Nicolette Cain directs the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions, and Debt Advisory divisions. A former Fortune 50 executive, she brings over 20 years of institutional experience to the mid-market, specializing in complex capital deployments and compliance risk management.
Prior to ARIGM, Nicolette held senior executive roles at some of the world's most dominant financial institutions. As a Managing Director of Quality Assurance & Compliance for Ocwen Financial (#1 Non-Bank Servicer), she engineered the global risk frameworks for a $50B+ portfolio, managing cross-functional teams across the U.S. and Asia. Following this, she served as a Compliance Officer for Dovenmuehle (DMI), where she created & implemented the governance protocols for a $450B+ loan portfolio, ensuring operational integrity for over 450 financial entities.

Kelli Grayson
Managing Partner and Member of the Investment Committee. Kelli leads the firm’s strategy, team, and technology division. With over 20 years of experience Kelli has led major transformation efforts for clients across a wide range of industries including industrial goods, automobile, logistics, technologies, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, and retail. She holds deep expertise in M&A and private equity investment-related projects, including corporate turnaround strategy and blueprinting, post-merger integration, M&A and alliance strategy, full potential and growth strategy. She has built some of ARIGM’s most enduring relationships in both corporate and investor-led settings.and is responsible for private and institutional finance investments.
Prior to joining ARIGM, Kelli was Managing Director with Bain & Capital where she advised on some of the largest financial investors in the Middle East. She was also involved in a number of large post acquisition transformations of private equity companies.

Elise Dabney
Head of Client Relations and Member of the Investment Committee. Oversees the Client Relations Division and is responsible for private and institutional finance investments. Ms. Dabney manages the infrastructure and fund investments in North America and the UK across a variety of sectors. 26 years of investment and corporate finance experience including serving as Executive Director, UBS Global Asset Management.
Prior to joining ARIGM, Ms. Dabney was Managing Director with UBS, where she led investments in European NPL portfolios, commercial real estate, and distressed assets. Ms. Dabney has served in a variety of senior executive roles leading significant global strategic and operational initiatives. Her experience includes leadership and board of director roles at Parkland Group LLP, Fidelity and BLW Fund Management.

Kara Athens
Head of Private Equity Division, Managing Director and Member of Investment Committee. Responsible for private equity asset management and structured finance investments. 18 years of commercial real estate and asset management experience.
Prior to joining ARIGM, Ms. Athens was Managing Director with Accute Venture Holdings, where she led investments in global companies across a variety of industries, market cycles, and structures. Ms. Athens has led numerous investments across technology, media, gaming, and hospitality. Her experience includes board of director roles at several non profit organizations and local hospitals.
Education: B.S., Finance from Univ. of Phoenix
William Bergman
Head of Operations and VP of Human Resources. Mr. Bergman oversees the firms operations and human resource department. He has 30 years of operations management, senior executive experience and human resource management.
Prior to joining ARIGM, Mr. Bergman was VP of Human Resources and Head of Accts Payable. While at Waterford L.P., he oversaw the firm’s human resource division, vendor management and accounts payable.

Shelby Singh
Chief Financial Officer and serves as Co - Chairman of the Investment Committee. Responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for the company’s financial reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting initiatives. 30 years of accounting and auditing experience in financial markets including serving as Head of Operations and Director of Financial Planning, Kipner Accounting, CPA at RSA & Company.
An accomplished finance leader, Ms. Singh has also served throughout her career in various senior positions at JP Morgan Chase, US Bank and Fortis Management.
Education: B.S., Accounting, Penn State Univ., MBA., Univ. of Phoenix and is a Chartered Management Accountant
